In 1990, geomarketing pioneer ADHOC SOLUTIONS is founded by Raphaël Amory with two partners. Based in Louvain-la-Neuve, the company helps its customers obtain a better understanding of their market and optimise their distribution networks in Belgium by using geomarketing techniques.
Business booms, and the company carries out a large number of missions for large companies and government institutions. The company develops well and the team of experts grows. “We are rapidly becoming an important player on the Belgian market” says Raphaël Amory, Partner.
After a few years, the small business is getting noticed internationally. In 2006 it is acquired by EXPERIAN MARKETING SERVICES. This international group, specialising in Marketing Services, is present on five continents with 19,000 employees on board. ADHOC SOLUTIONS becomes EXPERIAN Belgium, and Ronald den Ouden joins the team. “As Experian Belgium“, says Ronald den Ouden, Partner, “we have been able to export our know-how and complement our Belgian solutions and products, including customer knowledge and cross-channel marketing.“
In 2012, the EXPERIAN group changes its strategy and the Belgian structure emerges from the group, led by Raphaël Amory, Ronald den Ouden and Olivier Janssens.
“As early as April 2013, we find our autonomy“, says Olivier Janssens. Under the name SIRIUS Insight, we offer our customers unique and innovative solutions that allow them to make data driven decisions concerning the optimisation of marketing and sales through knowledge of customers and channels.”
The company signs a partnership with EXPERIAN MARKETING SERVICES and maintains a close collaboration.
From that time onwards, the company continues its development and specialises in new markets. Today, SIRIUS Insight is a key player in the geomarketing market and is distinguished by its global development strategies with a long-term focus.
